Today we're launching a completely redesigned CometChat Dashboard — the control center where developers configure, monitor, and manage their chat implementations. This structural UI refresh brings a modernized navigation experience while maintaining all the functionality you rely on.
What Changed and Why
The dashboard redesign addresses several key pain points we've identified through customer feedback:
01.
Navigation complexity
As we've added more features over time, the previous layout became increasingly difficult to navigate efficiently
02.
Information architecture
Related functionality was sometimes scattered across different sections
03.
Visual cohesion
Our design system needed updating to match modern UI/UX standards
Key Improvements
Streamlined Navigation Structure

We've reorganized the dashboard's primary navigation to create a more intuitive information hierarchy:
01.
Extensions consolidated under Chat > Features
All extensions are now logically grouped together rather than living in separate sections
02.
Moderation and Notifications upgrades
Our new AI-powered Moderation and multi-channel Notifications systems are now front and center, with legacy versions clearly labeled
03.
Documentation alignment
Technical documentation has been restructured to mirror the dashboard's new organization

Enhanced Security
Security remains a top priority. We've added:
01.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add an additional layer of security to your dashboard access
02.
Session management improvements
Better controls for managing active login sessions
Improved Developer Resources
Finding help is now easier with:
01.
Unified support access
Quick links to multiple support channels directly from the dashboard
02.
Contextual documentation
Relevant docs are linked directly from feature configuration sections

Migration Notes
This update is purely a UI refresh — all existing functionality remains unchanged. Your existing configurations, API keys, and implementations will continue working without modification. The new organization simply makes it easier to find and manage these resources.
If you've bookmarked specific dashboard URLs, you may need to update those links as some paths have changed. The main dashboard URL remains the same.
Legacy Features
While we've introduced new AI-powered Moderation and multi-channel Notifications systems, the previous implementations are still available under "Legacy Moderation" and "Legacy Notifications" for those who prefer to continue using them.
What's Next
This dashboard redesign lays the groundwork for several upcoming feature releases. The improved architecture will make it easier to discover and implement new capabilities as they're released.
We're eager to hear your feedback on the new experience. You can share your thoughts directly through the feedback portal or reach out through our usual support channels.
