What a week at North Star Dubai! There was so much to see and do during the five-day conference, and we had a blast representing CometChat at GITEX GLOBAL, the largest tech and startup event in the world, with over 100k attendees and 4k exhibitors.
Dubai is at the center of the technology ecosystem in the Middle East.
This was evident as CometChat's director of events Tim Gray, and Rushabh Mehta, director of global sales, met with companies from 36 countries from 6 continents (still waiting to meet the startup from Antartica!). It was amazing to see some of the challenges companies are working on solving such as climate change, access to education, transportation, and food distribution. We were thrilled to talk about how CometChat can be a tool to connect their users and increase engagement.

But it wasn't ALL work!
The CometChat team was able to see the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina and the old Souks. Dubai is a fascinating city and a true melting pot of the world. No one seems to be from Dubai, everyone has a story on how they ended up there. Most is due to opportunity and it is clear that the tech space in Dubai is growing as fast as the city skyline.
