Empower your mobile users to browse your site and chat using our handcrafted iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry web-apps. CometChat will automatically check if a plugin is compatible in the mobile browser and enable/disable the plugin on-the-fly!
The new HTML5 Mobile web app supports all popular plugins depending on the browser and device compatibility. For example- Audio/Video broadcast, Audio/Video chat and Audio chat plugins currently work only in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers in Android devices.
Screensharing now using WebRTC! The easiest way for your users to share their screen. Need to show a presentation or a demo? Easily share your screen or a particular window with another user. Screenshare now works with CometChat servers (requires active license) and no longer requires RED5/FMS.
Ability to Join Multiple Chatrooms CometChat v5.9 allows your users to create, join and chat on multiple chatrooms simultaneously. Users can easily switch between chatrooms and enjoy group chatting.
Audio Chat in Chatrooms If the users in a chatroom don’t have webcams or do not wish to have a video chat, here’s the solution to it! The Audio Chat Plugin in chatrooms now enables users to have an audio call with other users seamlessly.
Load earlier messages feature in Chatrooms Now your users will never miss out on any long conversations in a chatroom. Users can view all older messages in a chatroom by simply clicking on the “Load Earlier Messages” button.
