To modify the incoming sound alert, only two steps need to be followed:

• Create/find a new beep alert you would like to use. The alert must be in MP3 format.
• Replace the cometchat/swf/beep.mp3 with your new file.

• Delete the cometchat/swf/sound.swf file.
• Rename cometchat/swf/sound_formp3.swf to cometchat/swf/sound.swf
• Clear your browser cache completely and hear your new beep play on incoming messages!
