Overview

CometService can be activated directly from the CometChat Administration Panel. To use CometService, you need to perform two easy steps.

Obtaining Keys

1. Point your browser to http://www.cometchat.com/cometservice and select a plan of your choice
2. After subscribing, you will receive an automated email from us
3. Login to CometChat.com and visit http://www.cometchat.com/my/cometservice
4. Copy the keys from the page

Adding the Keys

1. Login to CometChat Administration Panel
2. Select Settings -> CometService
3. Enter the keys and set Use CometService to Yes

Do not activate CometService without entering any keys or by entering bogus keys. CometChat will stop functioning immediately.
