Why do you offer third-party alternatives?

We believe in freedom of choice and do not exercise any vendor lock-in policy i.e. we do not bind you to use our CometService. We offer 4 different alternatives to choose from if you do not wish to use CometService.

Why should I use a third-party service provider?

Third-party service providers are preferred in two scenarios:

• Cheaper pricing (PubNub, BeaconPush, Pusher) or free (APE Server)
• Keeping data in your own in-house server (APE Server)

Are there any additional costs besides $99 one-time cost?

We charge $99 for use of any third-party service provider. The service provider may have additional charges. Please refer to their website for more details.
